math.this week in math we have been learning how to play the area game and doing mathletics and I finish my tecther on mathletics.reading this week in reading we have been learning to concert what we already in the text.spelling this week in spelling we have been learning the long E sound and word work and ware we have to sit.writing this week in writing we have not been doing much in writing so I do not have much to tell you in writing.

What an amazing term of learning about Science. We learnt how the sun, moon and earth affect each other.

Term1 Tawa Team Raglan Trip

Tawa Team had a wonderful day trip to Raglan beach. Lachlan and his group completed the beach relay and had a lot of fun.  He used the key competency of Participating and Contributing by accepting responsibility as an individual and as a group member. He also demonstrated the competency of Relating to Others when he worked cooperatively with his group and was considerate of their thoughts and feelings.

BUZZING BEES OPENING STATEMENT Bees are good insects because they make honey. DESCRIPTION Bees have three parts to them ahead a thorax and an abdomen and a pair of antennae. LOCATION Many bees build nest made of wax. Some bees build nests in holes or cracks in the ground or in trees. Behaviour/Dynamics A new honey bee colony starts with the honey bee life cycle which is egg larva pupa. General statement Bee are the most important pollinators of flowering plant including fruits and vegetables. LACHLAN
